Peanut Butter Power Cookies

These peanut butter power cookies will definitely give you and your kids plenty of energy to play. Lots of good nutrients in these and the peanut butter makes them a sure fire hit with the little ones.

1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 cups rolled oats (not instant)
3/4 cup coconut
1/2 cup bran
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup oat bran
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped peanuts

In a large bowl, cream peanut butter and honey together. Beat in sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour and baking soda. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

Shape dough into 1 inch balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with your fingers. (If dough is sticky, slightly dampen your fingers.)

Bake in a 375°F (190°C) oven for about 10 minutes. Makes approx. 4 dozen.
