Honey Muffins

Why not serve these honey muffins at a Winnie the Pooh or teddy bear picnic in the backyard to your little honeys?

Small teddy bear graham cookies placed on muffin tops or around the plate are a fun addition.

Healthy Tip:
Choosing honey as a sweetener is a healthier option, as it provides important nutrients that refined sugar does not.

Ingredients:

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup milk
4 tablespoons honey
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup melted butter

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Sift together dry ingredients.

Combine milk, honey, egg, and butter. Add to sifted flour mixture.

Stir gently, just to moisten ingredients. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

Makes 12 muffins.
